Eight baptized in new Pachuca church

New Life Christian Church (Inglesia Cristiana Nueva Vida) in Pachuca, Mexico, celebrated its first baptismal service on Sunday, Oct. 11. Greg and Vicki Syverson of CMF’s Mexico team helped start the new congregation in May of this year.
“The baptistry was just finished yesterday, and we baptized four adults and four young people in it after a great church service,” reported the Syversons. “Then we joined with the angels in celebrating the new lives in Christ by having a potluck together as a church family. It is days like these that make all the hard work and cultural challenges worth it.”
