Currently, CMF does not have missionary personnel on the field; however, there is a vibrant church-planting ministry in São Paulo state because of a CMF-led partnership of Brazilian and American churches. The goal is to plant 5 churches in 7 years. Three churches have already been successfully launched. In July 2008 the first service took place for the fourth church plant in a place called Americana. There were over 100 in attendance and a lot of excitement!  Praise God for this great beginning and pray for the church to continue to grow and impact the Americana community. To insure maximum growth in numbers and depth, each church begins through the cell church strategy. CMF’s objective is for Brazilians to establish strong, self-sufficient, and reproducing Christian communities.

A campus ministry initiated by CMF at UNICAMP in Campinas, has been placed into the hands of Brazilians from area churches who oversee and provide leadership in meeting the spiritual needs of university students. Pray for the effectiveness of this ministry.
