Huruma/Madoya

More than 100,000 people from the Luo and Luhya tribes of western Kenya live in the two-square kilometer village of Madoya. They have small businesses or are employed as casual workers and live in houses of mud or tin.

The goals of the CHE (Community Health Evangelism) committee are to plant a community church and build a meeting place for it. The local committee has been trained and members are training more Community Health Evangelists. The Post Test Club has about 40 members. More education on HIV/AIDS prevention is a goal for this community.
