Communities

Hope Partnership considers all of its work to be an outreach of the Church of Jesus Christ. We believe that it is our responsibility to minister to the community at large, not just members of the local congregations in Nairobi. Nearly all of Hope’s work is directed toward the community, because in Africa, the most effective, long-lasting changes occur at that level. The community must also take ownership of any initiative in order for it to be successful. As community committees are trained in Community Health Evangelism programs, they begin to come up with projects to meet needs in their own neighborhoods.
