June

WORLDWIDE
• Pray for our 32 interns who are serving in AIDS ministries throughout Ethiopia, Kenya, Ivory Coast, as well as in other internships in Asia, Mexico, and Thailand. Pray for safety. Pray for the love of Christ to be seen in their lives, words, actions, and relationships. Pray that many people will accept Jesus Christ as Savior because of their influence. Pray that many of these interns will make a decision to be actively involved in missions after their internships.
• Thank God for our missionary dads who seek to balance family, ministry, and themselves in the pressures of living in a culture different from their own. Pray for God’s richest blessings to be sprinkled into their lives each day, and that they will share those blessings as they interact with family, friends, and others.
• Pray for our missionaries as they continue to learn language and gain insights into the cultures where they minister, so that they might be more effective in sharing the Gospel of Christ.
• Pray for God’s provision and abundance for the missionaries’ families and their ministries.

TANZANIA
• Pray for the church planters who graduate this month. Pray for boldness in proclaiming the Gospel, and that they would be ready to plant a church among their own people. Pray for safety and a hedge of protection from the evil one. Pray that many will come to know God and the truth of His Word through their witness.
• Pray for travel safety for Gary and Judy Woods as they fly to London for follow-up on the surgery Judy had for a detached retina. Pray that she does not have to have a second surgery on that eye. Pray for continued healing of her eye.

ENGLAND
• Pray with Tim and Tammy Aho as they participate in a Church Planting Task Group meeting, on June 27, devoted to coaching and mentoring skills development.

ETHIOPIA
• Pray for Shelly Hilvety and the soccer team she sponsors as they travel to Kiramu to do a sports camp with the kids in the area. Pray for Steve Limiero as he does a spiritual retreat for these young men (most are new Christians).
• Pray for those in the slums of Addis Ababa during this rainy season that God would provide warmth and good shelters for them to sleep in.
• Pray for the HIV victims to remain strong and to resist disease during the rainy season.
• Pray for Shelly as she prepares for several US short-term teams coming to work with the urban poor.

Pray THAT THE LORD WILL SEND more workers for the harvest!
