Puebla, Mexico
El Pozo (The Well) is a Globalscope campus ministry that provides a vibrant community for students so they will experience the life-changing love of Jesus Christ and grow in their faith. Students from la Universidad de las Americas-Puebla and several other universities come to the Green House (la Casa Verde) just off of the university campus to hang out or join in on any number of activities planned just for them. Exchange students from US universities make friends on campus and join in the activities.
¡En Vivo! Every Tuesday @ 8 p.m., with funny skits, great music, a relevant talk on the Bible, free food, and good friends.
Pozomida. Thursdays @ 2 p.m. – free food, a short devotional talk, games, and good friends.
Retreats. Once a semester the whole community gets away for a weekend of being together and going deeper.
Missions and community service. Whether it’s hanging out with the kids at a local orphanage, helping to bring clean water to a nearby town, building houses for needy families, or spending the summer in Africa, El Pozo students and staff are deeply involved in glocal missions on a regular basis.
Small groups, mentorships, and leadership groups. The El Pozo staff and student leaders believe in making disciples by being disciples. We dive deeper into God’s Word and what it means to follow Jesus every chance we get.
