International Liaison, Nairobi, Kenya: CMF’s Hope Partnership is looking for an energetic college graduate who would like to act as a liaison between CMF church partners who serve on short-term trips to Nairobi and Hope Partnership staff. This person must be willing to live in Nairobi and make a 1-2 year commitment. Primary responsibilities include managing short-term teams, communicating information between our partnering churches’ short-term teams and Missions of Hope staff, handling the logistics of all the short-term teams from their preparation process to the completion of their trip, and some compiling of newsletters/stories for Hope Partnership. This position requires continual cross-cultural communication, cultural sensitivity, flexibility, and patience. This person must be able to communicate effectively in person and via email. They must also have organizational skills, along with the ability to multi-task and delegate.
Engineering Associate, ASIA: An Asian manufacturing facility owned by an American corporation is looking for an energetic, self-starting individual with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related discipline to fill this position. Two or more years of applicable work experience is also required. The primary purpose of the position is to evaluate, improve and document plant manufacturing processes. This position offers many opportunities for interaction with other plant employees and for participation in community outreach activities. Detailed job description available upon request.
Globalscope Campus Ministers, Thailand: The team is looking for young, committed singles or married couples who are dedicated to reaching out to Thai students from one of the top universities in Thailand. The team is looking for people who are self-starters and have the initiative to learn the Thai language, create campus events and programs, and add an exciting new dynamic to the Grapevine ministry. Also looking for people who have experience in finance/administration or multimedia experience (photos and video).
Globalscope Campus Ministers, Mexico: The team is looking for young, committed single males or married couples who have a heart to minister to Mexican students studying at the Universidad de Las Americas (UDLA) in Puebla, Mexico. The team is looking for those who are willing to commit to the ministry for 2+ years.
Globalscope Campus Ministers, Chile: The team is looking for single females who want to serve and minister among Chilean college students in Santiago, specifically ministering to Chilean girls. They are looking for people willing to be involved in a variety of ministry tasks, but would especially love those gifted in the arts or sports.
Globalscope Campus Ministers, Scotland: The team is looking for another single female to help round out their team which will begin ministry in 2012. This new team headed to Scotland will be planting a brand new campus ministry in the city of Edinburgh.
Homeschool Teacher, Burkina Faso: One missionary family is looking for someone with a heart for the Lord to homeschool their children: Anderson (11) and Nicole (8). They need a responsible, creative individual with computer skills. A great, easy-to-follow curriculum is in place, so no previous teaching experience or training is required.
Student Minister, Ukraine: Our team is looking for a teammate (single or couple) willing to assist with the work in L’viv. Right now there is one couple whose focus is on student ministry. They would love teammates to work alongside them and their Ukrainian partners. The desire to learn and operate in Ukrainian is a must. They are looking for a long-term commitment of 2-4 years.
Student Minister, Ethiopia: One ministry we’d like to focus on is student/college ministry since there are so many colleges and universities in Nekempte (a large town/small city a few hours west of Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia). We’re looking for someone to base out of Nekempte to help our local church grow. Gifts needed include discipleship and evangelism. A couple would be ideal, but a single could work too.
Resource and Curriculum Developer, Ethiopia: The ministry in Ethiopia has expanded to over 70 churches among the Oromo and Gumuz people. As the work expands, the need for leadership training and curriculum development also multiplies. An important part of leadership development is usable materials that are in the local language and culturally appropriate. This opportunity is with the CMF team of church planters in Ethiopia. Undergraduate degree required and masters level Biblical and mission studies preferred.
Church Planters, Ivory Coast: The team is looking for another family or single male to join them in their efforts to reach the Djoula-speaking Muslims. An established team is already on the ground using Community Health Evangelism, a medical clinic, and Chronological Bible Storytelling to reach this mostly unevangelized people group. Looking for individuals that can commit to going for at least 4 years.
Director of Health Ministry, Tanzania: The team is looking for a US licensed medical doctor, preferably with an emphasis in Family Practice, who would help to initiate and facilitate the implementation of holistic health ministry in the areas where Community Christian Churches of Tanzania are planted. As an extension of the ministries of the local CMF church plants, this individual would seek to train and empower Tanzanian nationals to provide holistic preventive and curative health services using Community Health Evangelism (CHE) as the foundation. A Masters in Public Health would be beneficial, but is not required.
