What We Do
CMF International is people working throughout the world as Christ’s change agents in the transformation of lives and communities.
Our missionaries live among the people they serve, learn the language, and work within the culture to communicate the love of God. We place a high value on our missionaries working in teams, which have a shared strength as they determine the best strategies and use of personnel for their field. This proven approach gives us continuity, accountability, fellowship, and effectiveness.
Our current ministries are among unreached people in Asia, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Central Asia, Chile, Ethiopia, Germany, Great Britain, Indonesia, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Mexico, Spain, Tanzania, Thailand, Ukraine, and the USA.
We also
- ensure ongoing research into potential fields of service and recruiting of missionaries.
- assess missionary candidates according to carefully set spiritual, physical, and educational standards.
- assist missionary recruits in raising prayer and financial support.
- serve our missionaries in financial matters and maintaining close contact with their church partners and supporters.
- intentionally focus on all CMF team members receiving appropriate attention to their emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical wellness (member care).
We partner with churches. We join hands with churches of all sizes throughout the world in obedience to Jesus’ command to “go.” Whether in the sending out of missionaries, in strategies, or in projects, we move forward together to meet the opportunities and challenges of an ever-changing world.
We use strategies that are holistic by design. In the 6 decades of CMF ministry, we’ve changed how we do cross-cultural ministry, but we have kept focused on reaching the whole person: mind, body, soul. Our teams employ methods and strategies that bear fruit and are reproducible.
