Cross-cultural church planting has always been at the heart of CMF’s mission.
Our team members use a variety of ministries, methods and models to plant churches around the world toward the vision of seeing disciples multiplying churches. Equipping and mobilizing lay leaders is a key step in that process.
A great deal of leadership training occurs organically as national leaders are mentored one-on-one through their relationships with CMF team members and key national church leaders.
In addition, CMF has also established more formal leadership training centers in Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Ukraine, Chile, Ivory Coast and Indonesia. Church leaders, pastors and evangelists can attend the centers for classes on theological and academic subjects to increase their Bible knowledge, as well as learn the practical aspects of ministry life in their communities. Educated national leaders are catalysts for the further growth and maturity of a Christian community.
CMF’s goal is to establish strong churches with well-trained national leaders that will grow and reproduce.
CMF team members adapt to the cultures where they serve. They build relationships that lead to new faith communities. These churches train leaders, reproduce and become a starting point for transformation in the community.
