Andrew Barnhardt: ‘I’m going to Uruguay with Globalscope!’
Andrew grew up attending and volunteering at his church for many years, but it was his time as a student and an intern at the Georgia Tech Christian Campus Fellowship that he says, “altered the course of my life.”
“CCF opened my eyes to people’s need for community,” he said. “Uruguay is largely a country of atheists, and Montevideo has many universities where young people move to go to school. It’s a good place to build Christian community.”
Andrew has traveled widely and has a genuine interest in different cultures.
“If nothing else, I hope to be a friend to the people I meet in Uruguay,” he said. “My goal is to do life with folks and bring in my own passions to share with them.”
