Anna Thormodsgard Joining Our Ethiopia Team

“Not everyone is called to go, but everyone is called to wrestle with going.” It was those words from David Platt at a conference her freshman year of college that convicted Anna Thormodsgard and started her missions journey.

She checked out what missions is about, worked in a couple of cross-cultural experiences, and eventually came to CMF and served with our REACH international internship program where she spent eight weeks in Ethiopia. She lived and served in rural and urban contexts in Ethiopia, experienced the culture, led training for church leaders, and participated in various outreach programs for children.

Anna plans to graduate with a degree in mathematics from Colorado State University in August and then use her passions for teaching, coaching, and serving others alongside the CMF team in Ethiopia. Watch the video below to learn more about Anna and her missions journey.
