Christmas in War-torn Ukraine

June Johnson has been in Germany for the last year, caring for Ukrainian refugees displaced due to the war, but generous partners are allowing her to continue to support the churches still serving the hurting in Ukraine. June says that the local church in Ukraine is showing those in grief and anger, lonely and without, in fear and fatigue, God’s love in tangible ways.

Tim Ross returns to service with CMF

Tim Ross is many things: a pastor, professor, missionary, husband, dad, and citizen of the Cherokee Nation. In the 1980’s and 90’s, Tim and his family served as CMF missionaries among the Maasai of Kenya and upon returning to the US, he served as pastor of the Hopwood Christian Church at Milligan University for the next 27 years. Tim is an instructor at Emmanuel Christian Seminary at Milligan and a consultant with NAIITS, a seminary created by Christians of the First Nations.

Isabel Miller will serve with Marketplace Ministries in Mexico City!

Isabel Miller entered university at Georgia Tech as a business major, never thinking that she would be a missionary or work abroad. But when she got involved with a campus ministry on Georgia Tech’s campus called CCF, she says that “Little by little, through different ways, just step by step, God changed my heart and sort of shifted my eyes toward this kind of work.”

Otto McFarland will serve with Globalscope in Valencia, Spain!

Otto McFarland studied music education in university and fully planned on becoming a music teacher after graduation before feeling a call toward missions in his last semester. After discussing this with professors and the Director of Globalscope, he decided that he wanted to pursue international campus ministry.

Campus minister Tony Cole: ‘I’m constantly meeting new world-changers!’

Tony Cole grew up in the northwest U.S. and planned to serve God by planting churches there after graduating from Boise Bible College, but his life took a different path. He was in the CMF home office recently and shared his thoughtful and engaging perspectives about his past five years as a Globalscope campus minister and what it’s like living in the beautiful university town of Tübingen, Germany.
