Kayla Dean: ‘I’m going to Birmingham, England, with CMF!’
Kayla Dean grew up in a missionary family in Ecuador, but it was a Samaritan’s Purse shoebox-packing event that rekindled her desire for cross-cultural work as a young adult.
“I went home so excited, and my parents said, ‘So why are you thinking about being a preschool teacher and not a missionary?’” Kayla recalls.
Now the Point University student is making plans to join the EQUIP Immersive Cross-Cultural Ministry Experience, a serving and training program that provides hands-on ministry experiences for those interested in cross-cultural church planting in Birmingham, England.
