Leadership Summit draws hundreds in Ivory Coast
Church leaders in Abengourou, Ivory Coast, facilitated the very successful third annual Global Leadership Summit in the city in November, reports CMF team members Ian and Kristin Isely.
“The committee of church leaders, many of whom are individuals who work with and for our CMF mission and its churches, once again led the event in partnership with Second Church of Christ, Danville, Illinois,” said Ian.
The GLS is a conference that focuses on engaging church and community leaders across all domains of public life in learning quality leadership principles. Many attendees are church leaders and members, but many are also local business owners and political figures.
“Because of the diversity of the attendees, the GLS has become a very important asset for our church leaders to use to network with other leaders and expand their sphere of influence,” said Ian. “Plus, the GLS has become a great way for our leaders to share biblical leadership principles, with the aim of improving the overall quality of leadership in Abengourou.
“This year’s event was hugely successful, with more than 350 attendees, about 100 more than last year,” added Ian.
