New recruits begin journeys to the mission field at Launch in Indy
Eight mission-minded young adults, hailing from both coasts and Colorado, were in the CMF home office in Indianapolis recently for four intense days of training sessions, activities and one-on-one meetings in preparation for becoming CMF team members and raising support for going to the field.
Here’s a brief look at CMF’s newest recruits:
Joseph and Lizzie Hoffman live in Westminster, Colorado, and both serve on the staff at Flatirons Community Church. They are two of the members of CMF’s newest Globalscope team that will plant a new campus ministry in the Netherlands in 2021.
Victoria (Tori) Anderson, lives in Boulder, Colorado, and is employed as a Wellness Coordinator at the YWCA of Boulder County. She is a member of the Globalscope Netherlands team.
Taylor Roush lives in Westminster, Colorado, and is an intern at Flatirons Community Church. She is also a member of the Globalscope Netherlands team.
Rachel Batter is from Scotia, New York, and is a camp coordinator, dance instructor and preschool teacher. She will serve in Ivory Coast as a homeschool teacher for the children of CMF missionaries there.
Lucy Pizarro lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She will serve with the EQUIP Britain Cross-Cultural Ministry Experience in Birmingham, England.
Deanna Rebello is a preschool special educator in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. She will serve in special education with Missions of Hope International in Nairobi, Kenya.
Savanah Yancey is an Instructional Assistant in Orange, California, public schools. She will serve with the child sponsorship team in Ivory Coast.
