My visit to Kenyatta Hospital: ‘A day I’ll never forget!’

When fourth-grader Midy Michelle, a student at Missions of Hope’s Baba Dogo school in Nairobi, Kenya, landed in Kenyatta Hospital with a broken leg, it was a given that members of the school staff would visit her. And REACH intern Olivia Millar, who’s serving with the school’s Community Health Evangelism program this summer, got to go along for the adventure.

Ministry Positions: Dorm Parents, Missions of Hope, Kenya

Do you love being around kids? Lots of kids?

CMF’s ministry partner, Missions of Hope International, has openings for several married couples to serve as dorm parents in their girls’ and boys’ dorms at two boarding schools outside Nairobi. There are 1,300 middle school and high school students living at these two schools.

Garry and Linda Brock: Reflections on 44 years of service

In 1976, they were two kids from rural Oregon who wanted to serve God in Africa but didn’t have any idea how to set up and get started.

Fortunately for all, they connected with CMF as their support organization, and Garry and Linda Brock’s 44 years of ground-breaking mission work in Ethiopia, Kenya, the CMF office and Asia Marketplace Ministries took off.
